What began as a simple exposure to music quickly became a calling. Through a vocational arts program, Robert was introduced to the process of building guitars by hand. With a background in automotive finishing, he initially contributed by helping apply finishes—but it wasn’t long before he became fully immersed in the art of lutherie.
Under the guidance of master builders and musicians, Robert developed a deep appreciation for the precision, patience, and intention required to create a truly exceptional instrument. What started as a skill became a lifelong pursuit.
After returning home, Robert committed himself to mastering his craft. Working out of a modest garage studio, he began building guitars from the ground up—refining his techniques, developing his own designs, and dedicating countless hours to perfecting every detail. With the support of his family, he steadily built a reputation for instruments that are not only visually stunning, but rich in tone and character.
Today, Robert builds a limited number of guitars each year, allowing him to focus on quality over quantity. Every piece is handcrafted with care, taking months to complete, and reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence.
